Attitude of young Indian men towards women: Time for some introspection

I won’t make any comments on the statements made by Mohan Bhagwat or Asaram Bapu. Not the least because they don’t make my blood boil but simply because there is nothing I can say that hasn’t been said.  It is really sad to see their callous attitude and shallow thinking but at their age it is probably impossible for them to change their regressive and repulsive thought process. At best they can agree to ‘withdraw’ their statements (read: to be expressed again only in front of close and trusted people in the future). It doesn’t sound nice but it is probably be a good thing that in a decade’s time most of these ignorant and insensitive individuals (along with thousands of others like them who are vary of voicing their opinions loudly due to the current sentiments) either won’t be around or shall be spending more time at the doctor’s than giving ‘expert’ comments. The India of tomorrow definitely doesn’t need them. A pretty good riddance I must say!
